Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda Phase...The Mid-Life Crisis Phase...What makes someone a success ???

I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way...the Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda phase in my life. Better known as the "MID-LIFE CRISIS".

I'm older....YIKES !!! 

& I hope wiser & I now wish that I could...

turn back the hands of time & have a do over...

Unfortunately, this will not happen...so all I can do is think of tomorrow as my....

April is here & although the weather here in Staten Island, NY is not shouting SPRING yet. We know that in a few more weeks, we will be heading outdoors.

Here in Staten Island, NY...

The 2011 Staten Island Saint Patrick's Day Parade...

is the unofficial St. Patrick's Day.

Mark your calendars...this year's date is Sunday, March 6th. Step-off is 12:30 PM from Hart Blvd. & Forest Ave. BUT...for our family...the festivities start much earlier. Breakfast, before the parade, is always held at my cousin Jimmy & Kathleen's house. Of course, we have Irish Soda Bread...(My Mom makes "The Best").  Since man cannot survive on bread alone, we have a few quiches...courtesy of Mary, the chef, at my cousin's restaurant Jimmy Max.  One word..."DELISH". We also have bagels & a good old American Sub...all dyed St. Patty's Day Green. And, of course, after the parade...Corn Beef & Cabbage & Potatoes Too !!! 

Every year I bring an Annalee Irish Doll as a gift. Now comes the Big Decision...Which one do I choose??? 

Well... first let me say...alcohol consumption starts a bit early that day... Bloody Mary's, Mimosa's, & for some...Beer.
