Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda Phase...The Mid-Life Crisis Phase...What makes someone a success ???

I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way...the Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda phase in my life. Better known as the "MID-LIFE CRISIS".

I'm older....YIKES !!!

& I hope wiser & I now wish that I could...

turn back the hands of time & have a do over...

Unfortunately, this will not happen...so all I can do is think of tomorrow as my....

"DO OVER"

&

In the immortal words of Ralph Waldo Emerson...I am going...

"To laugh often & much;

to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of small children:

to appreciate beauty;

to find the best in others;

to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or redeemed social condition;

to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.

This is to have succeeded.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

US Essayist & Poet (1803-1882)

With these words as my guideline...I think...just maybe...I can succeed.

Because in the end...it is really the little things, the everyday mundane things, that we all do in our life that really spell...

 "SUCCESS"

So tomorrow...

While I'm driving...

I will be patient with the 80 year old person driving in front of me at 15 miles an hour. ;)

This I can definitely DO !!!

&

I will try to remember to...

Decorating Our Outdoor Rooms...

April is here & although the weather here in Staten Island, NY is not shouting SPRING yet. We know that in a few more weeks, we will be heading outdoors.

We love to decorate our outdoor spaces & we recently discovered this fabulous new product from Manual Woodworkers & Weavers called Climaweave. It is a line of pillows, runners & placemats that can be used indoors or outdoors.

According to the company...Decorative indoor/outdoor pillows, runners & placemts are made from weather resistant fabric that is moisture and fade resistant. Filled with recycled polyester fiberfill.

There are so many beautiful designs...So our outdoor rooms can become extensions of our indoor rooms. So throw a pillow on a chair or chaise lounge. Set a table with our runners & placemats. Enjoy the season !!!
